It was such a pleasure to volunteer as a Communications Specialist for the The June Callwood Centre for Young Women in Toronto (affectionally known as Jessie’s House). Along with my teammates, we were responsible for the planning and execution of the ” A Growing Story” fundraising event. Board members from Jessie’s House provided a budget and desired guidelines for the event… and we delivered! The event was a great success, bringing forth much needed funds and raising awareness about the services Jessie’s House provides for young women living in the community.
